It is the first of 4 outings we are planning to take in the area.  The Canoe trip was for the 6th and 7th graders.  In October, we plan to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather when the 5th grade goes hiking to Mile Rocks.  Along with several chaperones, we will be exploring our National forest.  Then, in the middle of October, the 3rd grade will be taking an early morning bike ride on rails to trails.  The final installment is in the works for our 4th graders to go skiing after our return from Christmas break.  We are also planning on getting together some St. Leo teams for the Ridgway triathlon!!!  Look out, SLS is on the move.  We are open to creative ideas and for people to come along.  Call Mrs. Messineo at the school (772-9775) if you'd like to volunteer or make a suggestion for an exciting physical activity.
